ADVANSA announces two Cooperation Agreements for yarn processors of Coolmax® and Thermolite® specialty polyester products
ADVANSA, European leader in the production of polyester yarns and fibres, announces two new agreements for licensed processors of its Coolmax® and Thermolite® qualifying polyester yarns:
The above agreements follow the announcement by the shareholders of the former licensee, Torcidos Ibericos, to cease operations.
Andrew Venables, director of Contifibre, states that "the addition of the Coolmax® and Thermolite® products to Contifibre's extensive range of Lycra, Tactel, Supplex and Cordura branded products gives us the opportunity to offer tailored yarn solutions to the leading innovators in fabric and garment technologies world wide.
Josep Marti of Ductel comments "We are pleased to start with the production of Coolmax® and Thermolite® qualifying yarns which complements our strategy of offering high quality, added-value products".
David Bayliss of ADVANSA, adds that "the broad processing base available in Contifibre together with a strong end-use innovation focus through the Contifashion development centre and extensive commercial network makes them an ideal partner in the growth of the branded fibre business within ADVANSA, while the well acknowledged specialty of Ductel in air-texturising technology, as well as their excellent market introduction means we are looking forward to two very positive collaborations in the growth of the branded fibre business.”
