The new “intelligent design” fabric will also be used for the official staff uniforms of the “ A1GP Powered by Ferrari”, A1GP is the World cup of Motor sports where competitors represent their nation as opposed to a constructor. |
ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ has been selected to provide the hidden performance inside
the F1 garments.

Created with new intelligent fibre technology from ADVANSA, (Europe’s No.1 polyester
fibre company), ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ is a high performance material made from
unique hybrid-fiber mix, which provides adaptive smart dual function: Evaporative
cooling and thermo-buffering.
As a result of the unique fibre mix, the fabric’s temperature is controlled to remain within
the boundaries of comfort and help keeping wearers comfortable in a wide range of
temperatures and activity levels.
The new licensed Formula
1 garment collection will be on sale to fans and everyday
consumers both track-side during Formula 1 weekends, as well as through major
retailers worldwide such as Karstadt, Tesco, El Corte Ingles, Intersport etc.

During physical exercise or hot weather, ADVANSA Thermo°Cool™ evaporates moisture faster than other materials thanks to its unique fibre mix. The fibres are designed to provide added evaporative surface and outstanding moisture transport due to the channels on the surface of the multi-channel fibres. Hollow fibres allow enhanced air circulation and focus energy on the evaporation process to achieve unmatched evaporative cooling. |

| When the user is cold, such as before engaging on physical activity or during a low activity gap or after exercise, when under the influence of post exercise chill, the hollow voids in the fabric provide a lightweight material with thermo buffering properties.
