The Needs Of Society

We at ADVANSA recognize that we need to meet the needs of society by conducting our business according to strict ethics, treating our people fairly, with respect and playing a full part in the communities where we operate

Our Business Ethics policy must be reviewed annually by all relevant employees and signed off as part of their continuing employment. The policy states:

ADVANSA wishes to be viewed by its customers, competitors, suppliers, shareholders, employees, government agencies and other third party agencies as a good corporate citizen. Therefore ADVANSA will conduct all operations and activities in a way;

  • that complies with the laws in the countries in which they operate,
  • that conducts all operation and activities at a high level of ethical standards, acceptable throughout the world
  • that requires all employees of the Company to manage their work in a way which maintains the Company's valuable reputation for respectful behaviour, honesty and reliability.

ADVANSA will provide business ethics guidelines and standards to bring meaning to this policy.

ADVANSA will make compliance with these business ethics guidelines and standards a condition of employment.

In ADVANSA we believe that employees are a key asset whose commitment and contribution to business objectives, focus on meeting customer needs and enthusiasm for their work are essential for the success of the Company.

We have established a number of principles to guide our behaviour, these are:

  • We will strive to understand and get value from the diversity of thought and business approaches that exist within our multicultural organisation.
  • We will not discriminate against or in favour of any individual on the basis of personal beliefs, ethnic background, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or thought processes.
  • We will promote the development of people as a key means of developing the business.
  • We place great emphasis on communications to our employees and support their involvement in appropriate business processes.
  • We will ensure, through regular, direct communication, that all employees have access to relevant information on business and employee related matters. We will train employees to handle such information wisely.
  • We will plan and introduce change with careful forethought and be principled and consistent in its implementation.

We believe strongly in playing a full part in the communities where we operate. This commitment comes not only from our commitment to operate as good neighbours eliminating environmental and noise pollution but also from sponsoring and promoting good works in our local areas.

Examples of this are

  • Our participation in the Cleveland Community Foundation, a charitable trust on Teesside in the UK which is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the people of Cleveland by raising and managing funds for distribution in response to local needs.
  • Our strong links with Sabanci University in Turkey
