We in ADVANSA are committed to continuous improvement in our safety, health and environmental performance and we believe that prevention of all injuries, occupational illnesses, major incidents and environmental pollution is a realistic goal and not just a theoretical objective.
Our goal really is ZERO.
We are committed to become a company where all of us, regardless of level or location…
- Believe in "The Goal Of Zero" and that it is achievable and sustainable
- Internalise and naturally takes SHE in consideration in everything we do
- Recognise the value of and contribution that standards, systems and processes make to the success of our company
- See SHE incidents as unusual and unacceptable but also opportunities for learning
- Are committed to implementing learning and improvements to prevent SHE incidents
As individuals we have 10 principles that guide us in our everyday activities at work and away from work:
- All injuries and occupational injuries can be prevented
- Each employee is directly responsible for preventing injury & illness
- Safety is a condition of employment; each employee must assume responsibility for working safely
- Safety training is an essential element for safe workplaces
- Safety audits must be conducted
- The risk associated with all safety deficiencies must be assessed quickly and where appropriate corrections made promptly
- It is essential to investigate not only all injuries but also all unsafe practices and incidents with injury potential
- As well as safety on the job, Safety Off The Job is important
- It is good business to prevent injuries and illnesses
- People are the most critical element in the success of our safety & health programme
