Oxidized Polyacrylnitrile (ox.PAN)

 

Ox.PAN is a non-melting, temperature-resistant fibre made of thermally stabilized PAN. It represents an intermediate to carbon fibre. The fibres are used in high-tech applications such as aircraft construction.
