Filtration
Filters are in most cases nonwovens based on synthetic fibres, e.g. PET, PP and some high performance polymers such as PPS and ox.PAN.
With the use of synthetic fibres, the porosity, separation efficiency and strength can be adjusted. Especially for food contact applications, special requirements regarding the purity of raw materials must be strictly observed.
Drinking water – as a scarce resource - can be processed as well with the use of an ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.
